What is the study about?
We are conducting a research study on students who choose to avoid using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools, in academics or their personal life. This goal of this research is to understand how students go about avoiding AI in practice, understanding the scope of GenAI avoidance amongst students, and uncovering what drives their decision to avoid GenAI use.

What do we need?

We are looking for currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate CU Boulder students who are 18+ and choose to avoid using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools.

You will have the choice of completing the interview online via video chat, or in-person (on CU Boulder campus). The interviewer will only be recording audio from the interviews.

The interview will be 30-90 mins long. Interview participants will be compensated for their time with a $25 gift card.
